First with his magisterial fantasy Bone to his mind-bending, time-warping sci-fi noir RASL, Paleolithic-set fantasy Tüki: Save the Humans, arthouse-styled superheroic miniseries Shazam!, and his latest children’s book Smiley’s Dream Book, Jeff Smith (b. 1960) has made an indelible mark on the comics industry. As a child, Smith was drawn to Charles Schulz’s Peanuts, Carl Barks’s Donald Duck, and Walt Kelly’s Pogo, and he began the daily practice of drawing his own stories. After writing his regular strip Thorn for The Ohio State University’s student paper, Smith worked in animation before creating, writing, and illustrating his runaway success, Bone. A comedic fantasy epic, Bone focuses on the Bone cousins, white, bald cartoon characters run out of their hometown, lost in a distant, mysterious valley. The self-published series ran from 1991 to 2004 and won numerous awards, including ten Eisner Awards. This career-spanning collection of interviews, ranging from 1999 to 2017, enables readers to follow along with Smith's development as an independent creator, writer, and illustrator.

The primary goal of this book is to bring you the bible in a new and exciting way that will strengthen your relationship with Jesus through an entertaining story. It’s Christian Fiction so there are a ton of scriptures in the book with good sermons and songs that should be a blessing to you. It’s Christian Sci Fi so there are some new technologies that are based in the future that are really cool and exciting inventions of mine. The most exciting technology to my knowledge has never been done in Sci Fi and is found at the end of the book it is called a SHIFT being which is an acronym for the description of the new technology. You’ll have to get the book to find out what this technology is. The story picks up where Civil Refuge, my first book, left off . The introduction should brief you on all that you need to know to make this book fun and exciting. I would, however recommed that you get Civil Refuge and read it first so you will be privy to all of the entire story. Quest for Peace storyline is about a Civil War that is in effect on the planet Ionious with a great cast of characters in the Ionious Army. It is the North against the South and they need a constant contact with God to get them through all of their everyday battles. The South is in a Quest for Peace and the North is out for blood and control of the element Vionium. There is much comedy in the book on both sides. You will also find suspense drama and intrigue. The characters are faced with situations that only a miracle from God could get them through and it happens alot in the book. God literally and figuratively shows up in the book as well as Jesus in a triumphant manner you will just have to get the book and find out for yourself of all the amazing things that God does in this book.

Merlin is almost young, and immortal, one of those born to walk the paths of the world, a man with charm carved into his bones, and enchantment running through his body thicker than blood . . . And this is a time of heroes, centuries before King Arthur is born, men and women who, though not gods themselves, are something more than mere mortals. For decades, Jason has been immured in his ship Argo in a lake in the far north, alive, but not, still traumatised by the murder of his sons by his enchantress wife Medea . . . until Merlin sees through the veil of enchantment and realises the boys were never killed; it was all a trick. Through the mists-shrouded isle of Alba to Greek Land, Merlin leads Jason and his Argonauts, some old, some new, on a quest to find the boys, journey filled with heroism and heartbreak, truth and treachery.

Although Colton and his forces have been winning battles, scattered forces still resist. Only now is the most powerful threat emerging - the Darkening, a physical emptiness, a void, which encroaches upon the very heart of the land, jeopardizing life itself, chilling souls to the bone, bringing death and annihilation, stealing memories and thoughts. As the Twins prepare for their quest, desperate stratagems are undertaken and magical talismans change hands but the foundation of faith and society is threatened as some Lalas trees have died and the sacred bond between the surviving trees and the Chosen companions comes into question. Colton sends three abominations to the three Elfin kingdoms, exact replicas of the Elfin sons of the royal families, the children that they love and yearn for. Catastrophe and murder ensue and the stability of the world is further undermined. Doubts continue to arise and faith is in jeopardy. The Darkening becomes frightfully powerful and none yet understand it. But, another new tree is born in Parth and Davmiran receives the 11th shard and it bursts with a powerful light that illuminates the skies once again, offering a spark of hope to all the suffering souls.
